WELCOME TO THE SWEAT TEST LAB

💧 What is Sweat Testing about?The purpose of sweat testing is to find out how much sodium you lose when sweating. The amount of sodium loss per liter of sweat is unique for every person. It can be 200mg/L up until 2000+ mg/L.💧 What does Sodium actually affect?Lower amount of sodium = lower volume of extracellular fluid in body (in bloodstream)
Lower volume of extracellular fluid in body = lower bloodflow to muscles and skin to cool the body
Also sodium plays an important role in the absorption of nutrients in the gut, maintaining cognitive function, nerve impulse transmission and in muscle contraction.
💧 How does a Sweat Test benefit you?After the test you will know exactly how much sodium you lose and you can create a bulletproof plan for any race or demanding session, to avoid a drop in performance cramps, loss of focus or the worst condition called hyponatremia.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

💧 All you need is to participate, no extra preparation, no need to bring samples, just you. We got everything else for the test.💧 After your arrival we will have a nice chat while I set you up for the test. Then we will wait a bit until we collect enough sample to evaluate the results.💧 After sample collecting the machine will give us a result and I will prepare some recommendations for your hydration💧 No need to worry, no harm will come to you. This is a friendly method so if you are afraid of needles and such, you are safe.
